In this release of BLOX Data Insights (version 1.11.0), we are introducing the ability to set alerts for KPI and ‘On Fire’ articles, adding App data into the Trending Dashboard, plus other miscellaneous improvements and bug fixes.
FEATURES
Add App data into the Trending Dashboard (DI-174 / DI-175)
To improve the view of how content is being consumed, App data has been added to the Trending Dashboard. An additional platform filter has been added to the filter model of the Trending board and a Platform section has been added to the article detail view.
Allow users to set and manage alerts for Data Insights (DI-172 / DI-173)
To stay up to date on specific KPI and ‘On Fire’ articles in the Trending dashboard, users can set up a notification for articles that reach the ‘On Fire’ status. On all other dashboards, users can set up a notification for any KPI. Users can be notified via Slack (integration now available in Settings). Check out our documentation on Settings, Alerts, and Integration for more information.
IMPROVEMENTS
Add help text to metrics on the Revenue Dashboard (DI-215)
Allow users to review the Subscription Dashboard data by day (DI-216)
Subscription Dashboard data can be reviewed by day as opposed to by month.
Display a message when previous day’s data is missing from Google (DI-187)
For clarity and transparency, a message reading, “Data is still processing and not included in some of these figures” will now be displayed as a yellow asterisk on the widget when the previous day’s data is missing due processing times from Google. Data should be available later in the day in these instances.
BUGS
Remove the Average Engagement Time metric from the article view on the Trending Dashboard (DI-228)
For data consistency, now that App data has been added to the Trending Dashboard, the Average Engagement Time metric has been removed from the article view on the Trending Dashboard. The Average Engagement Time metric is not available for app data.
Resolve crashes on the Trending Dashboard related to null values (DI-245)
This release also makes minor infrastructure changes that should not be noticeable to admin or front-end users.
