In this release of the BLOX Mobile App (version 1.15.0/app version 219.0), we are adding support for Customer.io’s anonymous messaging as well as making improvements to ad targeting. This release also includes a number of bugs regarding images.
Please note: Apple has released their quarterly account agreements. Until accepted, we are unable to update your apps to the latest version. Please log in as the account owner at App Store Connect and accept the latest agreements. The following link will provide instructions on how to find and accept the new agreements: How to find and accept Apple account agreements.
Features (Android & iOS)
For GAM placements, article and collection keywords are now passed to the ad requests under the ‘k’ parameter. (TNNOWIOS-1602-/TNNOWANDROID-1424)
The Customer.io (c.io) SDK has been updated to support anonymous messaging. The SDK version for iOS is 3.14.0 and Android is 4.12.0. (TNNOWIOS-1625/TNNOWANDROID-1449)
Improvements / Bug Fixes (IOS)
A bug caused images associated with in-app purchase offers to not show as expected. This has been resolved and the images associated with an in-app purchase offer will show on the offer view. (TNNOWIOS-1581)
The latest e-Edition issue will now only show in the ‘Today’s Edition’ position. A bug was found causing it to show in the first position of ‘Recent Edition’ as well. (TNNOWIOS-1609)
The URL provided to the Trinity Audio SDK will be appended with ‘mode=nowapp’ to allow the bot to successfully scrap the content to generate the audio version of the asset. (TNNOWIOS-1639)
Improvements / Bug Fixes (Android)
The foreground layer of the splash screen has been readjusted to match the spacing on the iOS app to create a consistent look between both apps. Please note, this change only affects apps using the two layer splash screens. (TNNOWANDROID-1398)
A bug was identified where large images (dimension) would cause the app to crash. Improvements have been made to how images are loaded and handled by the app. This should reduce the chance of crashes caused by image size. (TNNOWANDROID-1445)
A bug was identified causing the click through location of footer embeds to not work as expected. This has been addressed and the user will be taken to the expected link within the app instead of being pushed to the mobile browser. (TNNOWANDROID-1454)
This release also makes minor infrastructure changes that should not be noticeable to admin or front-end users.
