In this release of BLOX Pay Software (v2.33.0), we have introduced Adyen as a premium payment handler and improved Apple Pay setup capabilities, alongside several security enhancements and a key transactional bug fix.
Feature
We added Adyen as a premium payment handler in BLOX Pay. Wallet and Audience+ partners can now process credit card payments through Adyen, with support for shopper_reference and merchant-initiated transactions. (TNPAY-545982)
We added support for hosting the required Apple Pay domain association file in BLOX, enabling faster setup for Apple Pay for web-based subscriptions. Note: Apple Pay is currently in closed beta and requires both Audience+ and Wallet (Premium Credit Card Updater), and is only supported by certain gateways including Stripe and Elavon. Interested in upgrading? Contact your sales rep or submit a support ticket. (TNPAY-184)
We added BLOX metadata to all retained payment methods, including site, user, and CRM identifiers. This includes blox_networkmanager_id, blox_domain, blox_user_id, blox_crm_group_id, blox_crm_customer_id. (TNPAY-546026)
Improvement
We enhanced the security of the BLOX Audience+ credit card entry in checkout to align with new platform requirements and strengthen payment protection. This update ensures continued compliance with security standards. (TNPAY-546053)
We added support for refunds when using the Payway gateway by implementing general credit functionality. This ensures Wallet customers on Payway can now process refunds as expected. (TNPAY-546033)
Bug
We added a throttle to prevent rapid, repeated purchase attempts from the BLOX NXT Admin. This is a measure to prevent multiple authorization holds from being placed on a customer’s card and aligns admin behavior with existing front-end protections. (TNPAY-546062)
