In this release of BLOX Subscription, we are adding a configuration setting for expiration, moving the cancel subscription button to make is easier to find, and making changes to support promo codes. We've also addressed some issues and made minor fixes.
NEW FEATURES
On Newzware Service types, we added an Enforcement of Expiration configuration setting that will be enabled by default. When set to disabled, the system will remove any expiration upon login and no longer check expiration. This is to address an issue with some Newzware instances and allow them to work with respect to grace and expire times. (SUBSCRIPTN-556942)
We have added a feature that allows the creation of one-time promo codes in the Rate editor of Subscription services. By entering an email address for the recipient and an optional expiration date, you can send a one-time promo code to that user to redeem a special offer. (SUBSCRIPTN-556900)
The Cancel Subscription button has been moved to the top-left of the View Subscription panel when you open a subscriber’s transaction, alongside a red X icon. When you click the Cancel Subscription button the functionality is the same: a dialog pops up, allowing you to select a Reason for cancellation and enter Notes. (SUBSCRIPTN-556917)
We have made changes to allow subscription records for app purchases to be created in untrusted mode, in order to autobind. (SUBSCRIPTN-556957)
We have made backend changes to support future functionality for promo codes to be used with the BLOX Audience+ one-page purchase. (SUBSCRIPTN-556993)
