This release includes fixes for subscription renewal issues, switching renewal methods, improved reporting accuracy, and updates to payment handling.
FEATURES
We have updated the Transactions tab in Subscription to correctly indicate when Apple Pay or Google Pay is used. Previously, these payments were displayed with a DPAN card number as if they were standard credit card transactions. (SUBSCRIPTN-557610)
We fixed an issue that prevented users from selecting an existing saved payment method (wallet item) to update their subscription renewal. Users can now switch renewal methods without needing to add a new card. (SUBSCRIPTN-557669)
BUGS
We have fixed an issue where canceled subscriptions were not updating the recurring status on the active transaction. Although the subscriptions were not auto-renewing, they were incorrectly labeled as recurring. (SUBSCRIPTN-557245)
We fixed an issue where subscribers who originally paid via the PayPal button had renewals incorrectly processed through PayPal instead of the updated credit card gateway after updating their payment method. (SUBSCRIPTN-557475)
We have fixed an issue where cancellations were using the "label" instead of the reason code, causing mismatches in canceled subscribers reporting. (SUBSCRIPTN-557618)
We have restored the cancel reason to the Transaction History tab. A previous release caused this information to stop displaying during cancellations, but it is now visible again. (SUBSCRIPTN-557620)
We fixed an issue where enabling vaulted payments for renewals sometimes failed to enroll cards due to a background task error. Additionally, enrolled cards were missing a callback configuration, preventing the system from being notified when card details were updated, which impacts reporting. (SUBSCRIPTN-557666)
This release also makes minor infrastructure changes that should not be noticeable to admin or front-end users.
