In this version of Flex templates, we are adding a new dynamic navigation style which works really well on mobile. In addition, we are fixing several issues with the new Centerpiece grid, and making a few other bug fixes.
NEW FEATURES
We are adding a new navigation style called "Dynamic" which behaves differently depending on the particular page or situation. (FLEXBLOX-7553)
In this release, we have increased the size of the well in BLOX Email Reach newsletters. The size has been changed to 728px to accommodate additional advertising opportunities. (FLEXBLOX-7711)
CHANGES
When multiple slideshows are set up to "autoplay," there were sometimes odd behaviors with lazy loading ads and other intervals. This has been fixed. (FLEXBLOX-7584)
We are adding "global-side-primary" and "index-side-primary" regions to the Centerpiece grid to be more consistent with other grids. (FLEXBLOX-7701)
When Infinity Scroll is enabled on article pages which use the new Centerpiece grid, the right rail will no longer be too wide. (FLEXBLOX-7707)
On the new Centerpiece grid, we are adding a new break-through region onto the index pages so they have four break-through regions similar to the home page. (FLEXBLOX-7708)
Field59 VMS URLs are now supported in BLOX iTunes enclosure URLs. (FLEXBLOX-7714)
BUG FIXES
We have made a change to the placement of in-article Fixed Ads to spread them more evenly across the article. This should improve the overall user experience for readers. This only affects user who select "Fixed Ads" for the value for the Advertising -> In Story Ads setting. (FLEXBLOX-7688)
