This update for Page Tracker now allows users to remove stored output preference profiles through a new preference added in the application settings and in addition, includes improved Page creation settings that prevent any duplicated values.Â
NEW FEATURE
Page Tracker Version 1.33 introduces a significant enhancement that allows users to delete stored InDesign Client Output Preferences. This update is part of our commitment to improve the management of client settings within the Distributed Production for BLOX Total CMS environment. This service is crucial for users needing to remove obsolete or incorrect output preferences that no longer serve the production workflow. The ability to delete these preferences helps maintain a cleaner, more efficient operational environment.Â
IMPROVEMENT
BLOX Total CMS naming controls no longer allow duplicate or inappropriate values. The Page creation settings dialog has been modified so that a user can not add duplicate Publication Codes, Section Letters, Zone Codes, Edition Codes, Plates, or Page Content Types. In addition, it forces Zone Codes to be numerical as that is the only option that the BLOX Total CMS client for Adobe InDesign, Adobe InCopy, and Adobe Photoshop supports. Finally, the length of the various codes must match what is called for in the Naming Convention string.
This release also makes minor infrastructure changes that should not be noticeable to admin or front-end users. If you experience any issues or have any questions, please contact customer support at (800) 293-9576 or BLOXDigital.com/support.
