In this release of the Rayos Platform, we are fixing some issues related to a future upgrade of PHP 8. In addition, we are adding a new toggle which allows Field59 VMS users to better control their VAST ad tags and a few other improvements.
NEW FEATURES
When using the Rayos Field59 VMS integration, Rayos will override the Field59 VAST tag and use its own by default. We've now added a "VAST URL Override" setting in Rayos Field59 Video Settings page. This behavior will be enabled by default to ensure consistency, but it can be disabled if a site wants their Field59 VAST tag to be used from within the Field59 manager settings. (RAYOS-1175)

The All Export Pro plugin is now limited to certain access levels. If you need something related to this plugin and it is no longer available to you, please contact Customer Support. (RAYOS-1089)Â
We are upgrading the TablePress plugin to 1.13 in order to ensure compatibility with PHP 8. (RAYOS-1165)
We are changing the label in Rayos Elections from "Race State" to "Race Area" which will allow sites to use this field for counties, cities, and areas other than states. The stored values have not been changed to maintain data integrity. (RAYOS-474)
On the user-submitted photos form, including a photo is now mandatory. Previously having it optional caused confusion with some end users and has been fixed. (RAYOS-752)
We have upgraded the WordPress Missed Schedule plugin. (RAYOS-961)
BUG FIXES
A number of issues have been fixed related to the future upgrade to PHP 8. In some edge cases, certain plugins require jQuery and it is not always loaded. We will now ensure that jQuery is loaded if a plugin needs it. (RAYOS-1144)
We have updated the WordPress Google Maps and WordPress Google Maps Pro plugins to fix errors. (RAYOS-1038)
We have fixed an issue related to the Associated Press Elections data imports. (RAYOS-1185)
In some edge cases, when a syndication source is switched to a different BLOX CMS hub site there was an error. This has been fixed. (RAYOS-1077)
Quick galleries will now appropriately show captions. (RAYOS-1159)
In some edge cases, naming photos within the Business Directory with a simple numeric file name caused errors. This has been fixed. (RAYOS-1062)
