Before coming to work at TownNews, I worked as a consultant helping clients build web or mobile based products, either in the political or news business. I joined TownNews as the App Lead in the development department helping bridge the gap between our mobile developers and product team. Recently I was promoted to Director of Mobile Solutions and now head up the BLOX Now app product line.

What do you love most about your job?

At TownNews we offer our products to a range of different sized companies who have their own unique user bases and structures. It's challenging and rewarding to create products that accommodate a wide array of different companies and seeing how those companies use them.

What are you currently working on that you’d like everyone to know more about?

For the past year my team has been working on improving the reader/viewer experience within the mobile applications. We know a lot of partners and their customers really love our apps, and they use them to keep up to date on what is happening. I'm excited to see the response when we start launching these improvements this fall.

What are you most excited about for the future of the news industry?

I'm excited to see how our industry continues to adopt new technologies and take more risks to strengthen reader loyalty and engagement.

What's something people don't know about you?

A lot of people might not know that I do not live in the Quad City area. I actually live in New York City and have been here for almost 4 years.
