In this release of BLOX Core (version 1.89.0), we’ve moved the BLOX NXT menu item and navigation in BLOX CMS to the top of the admin menu, ensured consistency with default site settings synced across all datacenters, added support for Facebook data deletion requests, and expanded the Editorial API with new workflow and metadata fields.
FEATURES & IMPRPOVEMENTS
BLOX NXT Moved to Top of Main Menu for Easier Access BLOX NXT now appears as a top-level item in the main BLOX Admin menu, positioned above Editorial. This change improves visibility and accessibility for sites and users who have upgraded to NXT. (TNCMS-555993)
Default Site Setting Now Synced Across Datacenters The default site setting is now synchronized across all datacenters, eliminating inconsistencies when partners operate sites in multiple environments. This ensures a consistent experience in both the NXT Admin and legacy admin. (TNCMS-555984)
Support for Facebook Data Deletion Requests BLOX CMS now supports Meta’s Data Deletion Callback for sites using Facebook Login. This enables automatic handling of user data deletion requests in compliance with Facebook’s Platform Terms, reducing manual work for admins and ensuring users can easily request removal of their data. The callback removes only the Facebook login connection. The user’s BLOX CMS account (including subscriptions or other site-specific data) is not deleted automatically. For information on how to enable this please read our documentation. (TNCMS-555888)
Additional Fields Added to Editorial API Endpoint The tncms/webservice/v1/editorial/get/ endpoint now returns three new fields—workflow_name, workflow_process_name, and web subhead—to improve workflow tracking and ensure all relevant metadata is included for content management and presentation. (TNCMS-555318)
Dashboard Entitlements Update BLOX NXT will soon distinguish between “Standard” and “Advanced” dashboard entitlements. Standard is included for all customers, while Advanced unlocks additional dashboards and widgets. Without Advanced, affected widgets display masked demo data, and Trending Content refreshes every 30 minutes instead of every 30 seconds. Unless you’ve already upgraded to Data Insights, please contact your Sales representative if you would like to upgrade to Advanced ahead of an update from a future BLOX NXT admin release. (TNCMS-555937)
BUGS
We fixed an issue in NXT Contacts where some users were incorrectly shown as "Former" even though they had an active subscription. The system now correctly looks at the most recent subscription to display the accurate status. (TNCMS-555434)
This release also makes minor infrastructure changes that should not be noticeable to admin or front-end users.
