In this release of BLOX Core (version 1.90.0), we added clearer visibility into user relationships, new permission controls for NXT Dashboards, more accurate subscription status labels, and support for cross-site linked notifier channels in hub environments. It also delivers a few bug fixes, including asset previews, video framerates, editorial search filters, revision search errors, permission inheritance, and TIFF image previews.
FEATURES & IMPROVEMENTS
Clearer Visibility for User Exports We updated the NXT Contacts user export to include a new linked_account_status column, allowing admins to see whether a user is a grantor, grantee, both, or unlinked. This provides clearer visibility into linked account relationships across sites. (TNCMS‑555754)
Permissions for Data Dashboards With this release, NXT Dashboards now supports permissioning for users on the display of various data points including entire dashboards, Key Metric displays, and revenue based data points. (TNCMS-555953)
Enhanced Subscription Status Labels We updated the subscription status labels shown in NXT Contacts search results to more accurately reflect each user’s lifecycle state. Subscriptions past their expiration date now display as Former, active‑and‑canceled subscriptions show as Canceled until they expire (then Former), and canceled subscriptions will no longer appear as Grace. (TNCMS‑556030)
Linked Notifier Channels for Hub Sites Sites using a hub model can now create linked notifier channels that target channels on associated sites. When creating a new channel in Notifier, you’ll now see an option to associate one or more channels from linked sites.
With this update, the system handles all cross-domain communication on the server side. At the scheduled time, the destination site automatically receives a remote message that publishes as soon as the related asset has been syndicated and is live on the frontend. Until delivery, the hub can continue to modify the local message without needing to locate or manage its remote counterpart.
This approach replaces the legacy hub-to-site calls and significantly reduces partner-side complexity. For sites managing multiple sites from a hub site, visit our documentation to get started. (TNCMS-556159)
Consistent Asset Duplication We’ve improved how editorial assets are duplicated across BLOX CMS, BLOX NXT, and InDesign/TCMS so the experience is consistent and predictable no matter where duplication occurs. What’s now consistent across all systems:
The duplicated asset is set to Do Not Publish
All print publications, workflows, and processes are removed
All site tags, parents, and siblings are cleared
Duplication is blocked if the original asset’s DRM doesn’t allow it
BLOX CMS continues to append “ (copy)” to the duplicate’s title
BLOX CMS Creates a clean, unpublished copy of the asset with the updated title and all previous associations removed.
BLOX NXT Follows the same duplication rules and applies title updates when duplicating through the API.
InDesign / TCMS Now better mirrors BLOX CMS duplication behavior, including cleaning up relationships and copying child assets when appropriate.
These updates ensure cleaner, safer, and more consistent asset duplication across all tools. (TNCMS-555997)
BUGS
Fixed an issue where the NXT asset preview API did not load draft or unpublished versions of child assets. (TNCMS-556090)
Fixed an issue where creating a native video asset from video files with fractional framerates (such as NTSC's 29.97 fps) caused precision loss errors. (TNCMS-556115)
Fixed an issue where the "Print Ready" advanced filter in NXT editorial search returned no results when enabled. (TNCMS-556116)
Fixed an issue where the NXT editorial revision search endpoint logged undefined array key errors when non-draft revisions were present in results. (TNCMS-556125)
Fixed an issue where NXT permissions were not properly associated with user group rules created via the legacy admin site clone tool. (TNCMS-556150)
Fixed an issue where TIFF image previews were not available in NXT, even though the legacy admin provided JPG conversions. (TNCMS-556206)
