In this release for BLOX Mobile NX, app version 225.0, we have added support for the WebView API for Ads on iOS, fixed bugs related to HTML mode on both platforms, and made improvements to vertical video embeds in article details.
Feature/Improvement (iOS)
WebView API for Ads support has been added to the internal webview. (TNNOWIOS-1750)
Vertical videos embedded in an article will show full height instead of in a letterboxed mode. (TNNOWIOS-1834)
Bugfix (iOS)
In some cases, apps using HTML mode were not showing content in the correct ‘NOW’ template. This has been resolved and the chrome-less ‘NOW’ template will be used to display content while in HTML mode. (TNNOWIOS-1833)
A bug was discovered where apps using a non-Home tab as their primaryu tab item would not work properly and were forced to ‘Home’ as the primary tab. This has been resolved and the configured primary tab will show as expected. (TNNOWIOS-1835)
Bugfix (Android)
In some rare cases, an app using HTML mode or viewing a web link would crash as a result of Access Control checking for access when it should not. This has been resolved and the app will no longer crash. (TNNOWANDROID-1595)
This release also makes minor infrastructure changes that should not be noticeable to admin or front-end users.
