This release of BLOX Subscription (1.70.0) introduces an expanded NXT single-customer view capture for gift buyers and improvements to NXT dashboard analytics reporting. It also includes new opportunities to improve retention with a Smart Retries Beta, and new options for managing introductory rates.
FEATURES & IMPROVEMENTS
We added a new "Introductory Rate" checkbox to subscription setup to give partners the option to flag promotional pricing. When checked, this prevents former subscribers from re-purchasing a rate marked introductory. A future FLEX release will improve the user experience, automatically prompting the user to accept the next rate at checkout while preventing unexpected overcharges. (SUBSCRIPTN-557462)
We improved the user dashboard to exclude Deleted services, so users will no longer see them on the Manage subscriptions page (SUBSCRIPTN-557581).
Publications on the standard NXT dashboard package will now see churn rate and audience size widgets masked. If you’re interested in seeing these and other advanced metrics, contact customer service to upgrade to the Pro tier. (SUBSCRIPTN-557724)
We updated BLOX NXT subscription and report dashboards to ensure that multi-site filtering tools are based on software entitlements. (SUBSCRIPTN-557730)
Gift Subscriptions will now automatically create a record in NXT Contacts for the purchaser if one does not already exist. This ensures both buyers and recipients emails are captured, allowing you to maintain a complete single-customer view and track future engagement opportunities. (SUBSCRIPTN-557763)
We added new viewing, searching, and downloading tools to the Delimited Service Manager for BLOX NXT. In a future release, this will allow administrators to quickly audit and verify uploaded subscriber data files directly from the service configuration page. (SUBSCRIPTN-557795)
We updated the BLOX NXT activity log to display the specific service name alongside its driver type when a subscription starts. This allows administrators to quickly identify the exact product a customer purchased rather than just seeing a generic category. (SUBSCRIPTN-557836)
We updated the default date range on the BLOX NXT Contacts Dashboard from 30 days to the last 12 months. This allows administrators to immediately view year-over-year performance trends and audience engagement metrics without manually adjusting filter settings. (SUBSCRIPTN-557860)
We updated the "Audiences Reached" widget display configuration to explicitly use a funnel chart format. This ensures the visual data presentation remains consistent and correctly formatted following recent user interface updates to the BLOX NXT dashboard. (SUBSCRIPTN-557891)
BUGS
We fixed an issue where filtering subscription searches by "Active" status mistakenly returned zero results when using Solr searching. (SUBSCRIPTN-557825)
We fixed an issue in BLOX NXT where Admin usernames were not recorded during manual account updates or free subscription signups. This ensures the activity log and legacy history correctly attribute these actions to the specific agent instead of labeling them as system changes. (SUBSCRIPTN-557833)

BETA
We’re introducing a "Smart Renewal" beta program that optimizes and restructures the automated subscription billing process. Future improvements include optimizing renewal timing and streamlining retries. If you are interested in beta testing this new process, please contact customer service to enroll your Audience or Audience+ and Wallet-enabled site. (SUBSCRIPTN-557674)Â

We are also making infrastructure changes that should not be noticeable to admin or front-end users.
