In this release of BLOX Flex Templates (version 3.275.0), we're adding introductory-pricing protection for returning subscribers—showing a clear confirmation (and requiring a second click if an intro rate no longer applies), re-enabling Stocks blocks after a third‑party widget review, and fixing a bug that prevented the site's "remember me" setting from persisting for social and standard logins (including single‑page purchase variants)
Features & Improvements
Introductory Pricing Protection on Re-Purchase
Former subscribers who return to buy a subscription on an introductory rate now see a clear confirmation prompt before checkout, so the reader always knows what they’re paying. If the introductory rate is for new customers only and no longer available to the user, they will see a notification with the rate they’ll be charged, and then need to click purchase again. This applies to BLOX Subscription-type services on rates with the introductory box checked, who have a lifecycle set to a rate following an intro price, such as $0.99 for the first month, then $14.99 per month. Stocks Blocks Re-Enabled
The stocks block is available again. This was temporarily disabled in a prior release pending a review of the third-party widget they rely on; that review is now complete. (FLEXBLOX-10859)
Bugs
Fixed an issue where signing in through a social login would not honor the site's "remember me" setting, forcing readers to log in again every session. This also affected standard logins and the single page purchase variants. (FLEXBLOX-10845)
In this release we are also making infrastructure changes that should not be noticeable to admin or front-end users. If you experience any issues or have any questions, please contact customer support at (800) 293-9576 or BLOXDigital.com/support.
