At TownNews, we believe success starts with finding the right people. The work we do here is changing the local media industry, and these are the people who are making it happen. Today we shine a light on Ashley Rogers, Customer Success Manager.
What is your background?
I was born and raised in the Quad Cities. After high school I worked at a movie theater for seven years before I decided I could not survive off popcorn alone. I went to school for graphic design, illustration and story boarding, and even though I may not use it in my day-to-day job, I have several side jobs where I still get to explore these talents. I began my TownNews career in 2014 in Customer Support and was promoted to Customer Success Manager in 2018.
What do you love most about your job?
I love working one on one with customers, helping solve issues, and all the great friendships I have made along the way.
What are you currently working on that you’d like everyone to know more about?
I work closely with several large customer groups to help them quickly and efficiently achieve short term and long term goals.
What are you most excited about for the future of the news industry?
It's ever growing, and I love seeing how new advancements better the user experience.
What's something people don't know about you?
I am involved in two large conventions in my spare time: Planet Funk Con and Midwest Monster Fest. When I am not spending time with my family, you'll find me actively working on these two Quad City events.
