What is your background?
I graduated from UCLV in Santa Clara (Cuba) with a degree in Computer Science in 2007. In 2014 I had the chance to emigrate to the United States and immediately joined ARWHome in a developer position, working my way through a Director role. After more than seven amazing years, I decided to join BLOX Digital in March to keep growing professionally.Â
What do you love most about your job?
Being part of a leading company in the information technology marketplace brings challenges every day where I can use my creativity to be part of the solution.
What are you currently working on that you’d like everyone to know more about?
Right now I'm working on several releases of new features for our flagship product, BLOX CMS.
What are you most excited about for the future of the news industry?
Trust in the news has been declining lately, so it will be interesting to see how new ways to deliver the information will help to bring that trust back.
What's something people don't know about you?
I'm a husband and father of two that really enjoys spending time at home, watching sports, and working on backyard projects. My family is my biggest asset and I'm a diehard Real Madrid fan. I'm Cuban, so I'm also pretty good at salsa dancing.
