• We have expanded notification for Assignments, ensuring that reporters, photographers, editors, and user groups are promptly informed whenever an assignment is updated. (PAGETRACK-480) 
  Enhanced Email Notifications:

  • When an assignment is updated, both the assignment creator and the owner (including user(s) and groups) will receive an email notification with the assignment details. 

  • If the location data is present, the email will now contain an image of the location.

• This new feature introduces webhook functionality for the Assignment Tool, allowing editors and managers to receive real-time updates when assignments transition through various workflows in the editorial process. These four new webhooks are accessible under Applications > Other > Settings > Webhooks. (PAGETRACK-553833)

  • Assignment Created: Triggers when a new assignment is created in the system.

  • Assignment In Progress: Triggers when an assignment transitions to an "In Progress" state.

  • Assignment Completed: Triggers when an assignment is marked as completed.

  • Assignment Workflow Changed: Triggers when an assignment's workflow status changes, providing immediate visibility of status updates.

• Page Tracker's Budget View now includes a new column option for Page Notes. Previously available only in the Edition View, Page Notes can now be included in the Budget View, meeting the specific needs of users who require this information while working within this view. (PAGETRACK-553907)

IMPROVEMENTS

• Page Tracker's Placement Priority Hierarchy Automated Production application setting has been improved with the addition of sibling assets. This additional layer of customization allows for more nuanced and precise control over how assets are arranged, catering to complex editorial requirements. (PAGETRACK-824)

• New preferences have been added to Page Tracker's Application settings for folio height and page location spacing. Users can now set preferences for Folio Height and Page Location Spacing, providing more control over the layout and design aspects using Automated Production for BLOX Total CMS. (PAGETRACK-773)

• The tooltip for the Copy Fit option has been changed to reflect more accurately what it does. In addition, it has been adjusted to ensure that it remains fully visible regardless of where the user hovers over the option. Previously, this tooltip may have been cut off. (PAGETRACK-553942)

• A change has been made to prevent adding spaces to the Naming details Page creation application setting. This enhancement ensures that no extra spaces are included in publication names, preventing issues with budgeting and page creation. (PAGETRACK-554000)

• We are introducing an automated selection of the geometry items based on the chose location within the Add Publication and Assignment Wizard tools. This will enhance usability ensuring that users are presented with, and select, relevant geometry options. (PAGETRACK-554005)

• Two new column options have been added in Page Tracker’s Budget View, allowing users to display the Geometry and Page Location of assets. These additions enhance the visibility of crucial asset details directly within the Budget View, improving the workflow and management of page content for Automated Production. (PAGETRACK-554007)

BUG FIXES

• A bug in Page Tracker caused an error when trying to add an asset to a new edition without first saving the edition has been fixed. The fix automatically creates the edition when submitting the new edition popup, preventing the error from occurring. (PAGETRACK-817)

• This update fixes a layout problem in Page Tracker. Previously, the "Download Zip" button could obscure the Name field while editing a page. Now, the Name field uses the entire width of its line, and the "Manage Zip" button has been moved to prevent any layout issues. (PAGETRACK-553867)

• The "Available Space" feature in Page Tracker’s Budget View was returning a NaN (Not a Number) value. The issue has now been fixed, and the tool will now accurately calculate and display the available space. (PAGETRACK-553966)

• This update fixes multiple errors related to deprecated dynamic properties in the Budget View of Page Tracker. It ensures compatibility with PHP 8.3, preventing these errors and allowing the Budget View to operate smoothly. (PAGETRACK-554002)

• An issue with the Clone Request web service in Page Tracker, which caused an error related to "syndomain" during the cloning process, has been resolved. The service has been updated to correctly handle the 'syndomain' parameter, eliminating the error. (PAGETRACK-554012)

This release also makes minor infrastructure changes that should not be noticeable to admin or front-end users.
