In this release of BLOX NXT (version 0.28.0), we're delivering a mix of workflow improvements, parity gains, and quality-of-life fixes across the platform, along with a range of Beta features and enhancements and a number of bug fixes. Admin management now lives in a dedicated Settings location with a refreshed group permissions UX, and an in-app update prompt keeps everyone on the latest version. Content teams get dynamic SEO previews, automatic tagline inheritance from author profiles, WebP image support, HTML as a selectable asset type, and image-level photo sales controls that bring NXT to parity with legacy BLOX. We've also strengthened payment security, improved dashboards with a new Subscription Purchase Events funnel widget and clearer permissions messaging, defaulted CSV exports to all rows, and polished numerous workflows—alongside better mobile and extra-small viewport display throughout.

Admin Management Moved to Settings with Group Permissions UX
Managing administrators and admin groups has moved out of Community and into a dedicated location under Settings, with a refreshed UX for creating & assigning group permissions. Admin routing is now consolidated under /settings/admins. (CMSADMIN-719)
Application Update Prompt
When a new version of NXT Admin is released, users will now see an "Update Available" prompt with a button that refreshes the page and loads the latest version, ensuring everyone is working on the current release. (CMSADMIN-2015)
SEO Preview Updates Dynamically
The SEO preview card in Article Metadata now updates dynamically as you edit the title and body copy, providing an accurate representation of how the article will appear in search results without requiring a save first. (CMSADMIN-2176)
Tagline Inherits from Author Profile
When an author with a tagline set on their profile is added to an article, that tagline now automatically populates the article's Tagline field. If multiple authors are added, the tagline reflects the first author — matching legacy BLOX behavior. (CMSADMIN-2339)
Collaboration Form Reflects Automation Field Updates
Fields in the article asset now responds to automation rules configured in Editorial settings (legacy) — when an automation modifies a field server-side on save (for example, adding sections based on a flag), those updates are now reflected in the live form. (CMSADMIN-2507)
More Prominent Full Resolution Button for Images
The button to view an image at full resolution has been restyled to be more visible and discoverable. (CMSADMIN-2517)
Removed Character Limit on Print Note Fields
The character limit on print note fields has been removed, allowing longer notes where needed. (CMSADMIN-2564
Webp Image Uploads Supported
WebP image uploads are now supported—upload WebP files as inline images or through the regular upload flow for smaller, faster-loading images with transparency support (CMSADMIN-2023).
HTML Asset Type in Asset Creation Modal
The asset creation modal now includes HTML as a selectable asset type. (CMSADMIN-2642)
Photo Sales Setting in NXT Admin
Image-level photo sales controls are now available in NXT Admin, achieving parity with the legacy BLOX CMS. Individual images can be set to opt in or out of photo sales while respecting the site-wide setting. (CMSADMIN-2117)

Subscription Purchase Visible Without Refresh

CSV Exports Default to All Rows

Services: Purchase Rates Column Visibility

Subscription Purchase Events Widget
A new Subscription Purchase Events widget is available on the Contacts Dashboard. The funnel visualization shows user counts and drop-off percentages across each purchase step — Product List Viewed, Checkout Started, Payment Info Entered, and Order Completed — with a breakdown by total, mobile, and desktop traffic. Newsroom-Specific Style Guide Suggestions (Content Managment)
Newsroom-specific style guide enforcement via Content Suggestions (Beta — requires support enablement). Content Suggestions now enforce newsroom-specific rules to provide consistent editorial guidance directly during content creation. This feature is in beta and available to participating customers. Bulk Upload Notifications and Batch Edit Link (Content Management & Core)
When a bulk upload finishes processing, a bell notification now appears with a timestamp confirming completion. Clicking the notification takes you directly to the uploaded assets in Content Management search results, where you can select items and batch edit status, workflow, metadata, and file names in one place. Dashboard Alerts (Dashboards)
Beta Users can now set up custom alerts on dashboard widgets. Click the bell icon on a supported widget to open the alert configuration drawer, where you can name the alert, choose which websites it applies to, and define the criteria that should trigger a notification — useful for monitoring KPIs, churn thresholds, trending content, and bandwidth goals. Layout Editor and Library Page Fit (Dashboards)

Creating and editing Access Criteria in Journeys is now available (Community)
Target dozens of conditions like subscriber status (former, active, grace), CDP audiences, IP address, query strings and more. The targeting criteria can be mixed and matched, and edited or created in Journeys or legacy Access Control. Just like legacy Access Control, BLOX Audience+ customers retain full access to dynamic audiences and the full suite of targeting options. BLOX Audience customers will now see the plus options grayed-out rather than missing. (CMSADMIN-1531)
Redesigned Method Groups — Create and Edit Directly in NXT Journeys (Community)
You can now create and edit Method Groups directly within NXT Journeys, in a totally redesigned interface. Method Group creation is now streamlined and consolidated into a single form. Editing Methods is faster, easier and offers more transparency by showing additional information for each subscription service: type, status, and the number of users currently active on the service. Email Newsletter Subscriptions on Single Customer View (Community)
We launched a powerful Newsletter Lists widget in the NXT Contacts Single Customer View to instantly add, remove, or globally unsubscribe Email Reach newsletter signups. This completely transforms the customer service workflow, allowing CSRs to rapidly manage subscriber data from one screen without switching applications. (CMSADMIN-2153)
Re-Subscribe Globally Unsubscribed Users (Email Reach)
Admins can now re-subscribe eligible users who have been globally unsubscribed, directly from the contact view. The action includes a confirmation email step requiring explicit acknowledgement of user consent and tracks the status as pending until the user accepts via email. (CMSADMIN-2260)
