[Investigating]Â BLOX Digital (formally TownNews) has received reports of BLOX Total CMS appliances hitting disk limits. After investigation by BLOX Digital engineers, we believe the reason for this issue is that the daily delta for the Associated Press is now much larger.
[Identified]Â As a result on 1TB sized appliances, those that have a model ending in -1000, that previously had adequate storage for a few years the default snapshot schedule will fill the available storage.
[Monitoring]Â After BLOX Total CMS support has verified that purge scripts are running, that editorial retention/expiration is sane, we'll engage with customers to determine if sites are open to removing the default_bimonthly and default_monthly snapshots from the schedule. There will be less snapshots to pull old files out of, but sites won't be run out of space.
Barring that, we recommend sites review AP content importers to make them more selective in what it pulls down/retains.Â
For immediate support, we encourage customers to create support requests by logging into the support ticketing system.

During non-business hours, this will direct your call to our answering service, who will locate a BLOX Digital staff member who can help. Please allow up to 30 minutes for a response.
Please help us provide this no-cost service by requesting After Hours help only for critical situations. BLOX Digital considers a request "critical" when a site or live stream is inaccessible, or if customers cannot update editorial or advertising content.
